Helicopter Mechanic

Salary : EUR 5000 to EUR 5500 Per Month

The helicopter mechanic will be required to conduct inspections of aircraft in accordance with regulations. The candidate must have advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. They also are responsible for some of the technical aspects of the aircraft and must have the ability to use various software programs to diagnose problems. This position could be live aboard or shore based depending on vessel requirements.

Qualifications, training and skills required

  • Professional helicopter mechanics certification from Federal Aviation Association
  • Helideck operations
  • Fault finding and trouble shooting
  • Underwater rescue
  • STCW and PDSD
  • ENG 1 Medical
  • Ability to work under pressure in a variety of weather conditions

Extra desired training

  • Helicopter pilot
  • Knowledge of multiple languages
