Maritime Compliance & DPA
Salary : EUR 3000 to EUR 5000 Per Month
Depending on the nature of the organisation this role may be undertaken by the Head of Compliance & DPA. Whilst the Head would be overseeing a fleet, an individual in this position is responsible for a singular or multiple vessels within the fleet. The role involves overseeing various teams to ensure that the vessels are fully compliant before setting sail. Individuals closely work with internal and external auditors and ensure feedback is implemented accordingly. Risk management is crucial in this role. They provide a network between the yacht owner and the management onboard. Due to being the main link between the owners and crew on board, DPA's have to ensure provision is made for the vessel to operate with a safety management system in place. Individuals in this position are expected to be compliant themselves and met the IMO (International Maritime Organisation) minimum standards.
Qualifications, training and skills required
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the marine industry
