Thames Motor Yacht Club (TMYC), one of the best located boating clubs on the River Thames, is situated amongst picturesque grounds with its own club-house, riverside bar and moorings at Hampton Court. The Club has a very active membership, of full boating members, family members and social members. Club life revolves around the Commodore’s Programme that includes many social events, boat handling competitions, and cruises. New members are able to call upon a vast experience within the Club, of all aspects of boat handling, cruising, and boating enjoyment. For those new to boating, TMYC suggest cruising with an experienced “buddy boat” for peace of mind. Also, TMYC offers practical sessions as well as RYA shorebased courses for Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster and practical RYA Inland Helmsman all open to the public. TMYC enjoy both a club-house with bar for functions, and a River Bar next to the moorings. These facilities, at this superb venue can be hired for outside functions, corporate events and special occasions.
