Approved by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency this ‘open enrolment’ course is designed to meet the requirements laid down in STCW95 Regulation VI/3 and Section A-VI/3 of the STCW95 code.
The student will further their knowledge gained during STCW95 basic training and emphasis will be on organisation, tactics, communication, command and control.
At the end of the course the student will be able to demonstrate the ability to act as a member of a fire party and be able to respond to emergency situations involving fire on board ship.
Who is this course for?
For those who require advanced training to work on board a sea going vessel.
Course requirements
•Minimum age of 18
•Medically fit and healthy – a medical form will be required
•Delegate must be in possession of a valid STCW95 VI/1-2 certificate
