This ‘Open enrolment’ training course forms a part of the requirements for basic training for seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board ship. The training must be undertaken before new entrants are assigned to any such shipboard duties.
The objective of the training is to give all persons onboard ship the essential training to meet the knowledge, understanding and proficiency compliant with STCW code.
Who is this course for?
For those who are training to work in the Maritime Industry or seeking employment to work in any capacity on board a sea going vessel but do not have a designated security duties.

•Medically fit and healthy – a medical form will be required
