CEVNI Waterways Test/Assessment

Increasingly, boaters of all types are venturing onto the European Inland Waterways either by chartering or hiring a boat on the continent, or entering the systems from the sea through one of the many large sea locks.

In most European countries it is necessary to hold an International Certificate of Competence (ICC) endorsed for Inland Waterways. This is achieved by taking the CEVNI test on the European Inland Waterways Regulations.

If you did not take the CEVNI test during your practical ICC test, the endorsement to your ICC for inland waterways can be added at any time by taking the CEVNI test. Excel Yachting offer a practice course, which will help you to prepare you for the real test. It’s up to you!
