SV CE General Engineering Science I & II A 10 day course certificated by 2 examinations on day 9 & 10, covering: General Engineering Science I Mathematics arithmetic algebra trigonometry geometry mensuration Applied Mechanics units kinematics dynamics statics friction machines strength of materials fluids at rest transverse stability SV CE General Engineering Science II Applied Heat heat energy gas laws combustion refrigeration Electricity nature of electricity electric currents electric circuits resistance secondary cells magnetic fields electromagnetic induction measuring instruments and measurements Due to the large amount of material to be learnt, candidates must have a good working knowledge of the fundamentals of Maths & Physics. A substantial amount of pre-course study is required, and candidates are advised to spend at least 6 weeks working on the course material supplied when enrolling onto the course.
