INTERNATIONAL MIXOLOGY COURSE

This program is aimed at Beginners or Junior Barman who are looking to master the secrets of cocktail making and build up confidence behind the bar.

The course also appeals to yacht crew members at any given level that is interested in developing their cocktail awareness, acquiring a new exciting skill and most of all getting a professional Spirit/cocktail qualification under their belt.

We run this course every month so you can pick the right schedule according to your needs. It's a week of full-time and intensive cocktail knowledge starting on Monday and finishing on Friday (10 am till 4.30 pm)

Course Structure

The course aims to teach the right modern mixology techniques and the international product knowledge required in any professional bar environment, from luxury hotels to stand-alone bars, from high-quality restaurants to luxury yachts.

The course will cover everything you need to know about cocktail mixology and will bring your knowledge up to speed on subjects like:

- Bartending Fundamental

- Mixology techniques

- Product knowledge of main spirits categories (Vodka, Rum, Tequila, Gin, Whiskey..Etc.)

- Distillation concept Fundamental

- Sequence of service

- Pouring techniques

- Bar preparation and set-up

- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail making (IBA international cocktails). 50 to 70 main cocktails like Mojito, Rusty Nail, Martinis, Cosmopolitan etc...

Furthermore, included in the price, the course will culminate with the WSET Level 1 Award in Spirit exam. The best and most known qualification in spirit is recognised in 70 countries globally.
