Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)

After this course you will be able to take immediate action upon encountering an accident or other medical emergency on board a yacht. Amongst other subjects you will learn about the immediate measures to be taken in cases of emergency including the ability to position a casualty, applying resuscitation techniques, controlling bleeding, applying the appropriate measures of basic shock management, applying appropriate measures in the event of burns and scalds including accidents caused by electric current and much more.
