Basic Fire Fighting & Fire Prevention - Course #144
This 2 day course is one of the four modules of STCW Basic Safety Training. There are no tonnage limits on this course and it will satisfy STCW VI-1-2. This course includes both theory taught in the classroom and practical training and assessments with live fire scenarios utilizing the MPT Marine Tech Fire Academy.
PASSPORT for Photo ID, Paper, Pencil, Pen, 2 Highlighters (different colors) Towel, Jeans or Workpants and t-shirt & socks for fire field. Please note that for your safety the practical exercises in the fire fighting part of this course require a blood pressure of under 160/90 as they are physically exerting. This course is not recommended for pregnant women or those who cannot participate in moderate physical exertion
