Driven by STCW 2010 and based on the MNTB’s criteria for Human Element Leadership and Management, the candidates will enhance their managerial and operational skills with the aim of minimising incidents through human error.
This MCA approved course meets the latest mandatory requirements for approved training in the Human Element, Leadership and Management at Management level as directed by STCW 2010 and based on MNTB’s criteria.
We build on the theory using a range of practical exercises designed around shipboard drills, bridge and engine room simulation and maritime experiential team exercises. These exercises can be tailored to individual customer requirements.

OBJECTIVES
To meet the requirements of STCW 2010 code for Deck and Engineering at Management level.
To fulfil the requirements of MCA Certificates of Competency for HELM training.
To enhance the theoretical studies through case study and practical exercises.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
This course is aimed primarily at Masters and Chief Engineers, Chief Mates and Second Engineers who are seeking certification under SCTW regulations. Due to the current pressures in the industry, it is also very useful for operational personnel in shore-based roles.
