ICC International Certificate of Competence

An ICC Certificate is an assessment of a candidate’s ability to skipper a yacht in familiar waters during the hours of daylight. The assessment includes a practical and oral exam demonstrating the candidates ability to sail a triangular course, use flares and safety equipment, plot a position, pick up moorings and identify a potential collision situation.

Courses can be run at any time, subject to availability.

Course Schedule

Start at 0900 and finish at approx 1600 on the final day.

Additional Costs Onboard

Crew kitty of £5 per day towards food.

£5 per day towards mooring costs.
