Leadership & Managerial Skills

Management and leadership skills are key to the success of an organisation. Good managers can transform business results through ensuring employees are engaged and motivated whilst reaching their potential. The transition from employee to manager is considered to be the most challenging of any management career and this course focuses on developing core, foundation skills which enable aspiring, new and those already in role to take this step confidently and successfully.

Whilst the skills of management may be considered a universal language, this course focuses on the unique environments of the oil, gas and energy sectors and the challenges that they bring when it comes to leading teams to success. Spread over 4-6 months with a structured, supportive approach the course allows learners to work at their own pace and around any rotational shift patterns. Tutor support is available from day 1 through to completion and there will be plenty of opportunities to interact, discuss and learn.
