This course is needed for all crew. The STCW 2010 Personal Survival Techniques course in in line with meeting the requirements laid down in, STCW 1978 as amended (Including STCW95 and STCW 2010) Regulation VI/1 and STCW Code Section A-VI/1 Paragraphs 2.1.1

Ability After Course: The Personal Survival Techniques Certificate covers the requirements of the 1995 STCW Convention and Code Chapter VI, Section A – VI/1. On Completion of this course, a trainee will be able to survive at sea in the event of ship abandonment.
