Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)

The 3-days ISPS / MCA Ship Security Officer (SSO) Course is an essential course for those who are or wish to be, employed as the person responsible for providing protective security on a commercial vessel, offshore installation or a superyacht.

The course is designed for an experienced crew who may take on the role of Ship Security Officer and may, therefore, need to deal with any kind of security threat or safety problem and manage the preparedness of the entire crew for an effective response to such a situation. The course includes anti-piracy and anti-terrorism modules and follows the MCA and ISPS Code requirements.
