The aim of this Refresher course is to provide training for those who are assigned to crew a ship’s or offshore installation lifeboat and rescue boat, other than a fast rescue boat, with the knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently launch and take charge of the lifeboat and rescue boat in emergency situations. This course covers the requirements of the 1995 STCW Convention Chapter VI, Section A-VI/2-1.

Practical Survival Craft & MOB Boat sailing
Right an inverted liferaft

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Seafarers: Basic or refresher certificate + min 1 year seagoing service within the last 5 years
Offshore: Basic or refresher certificate
