RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory

This is the perfect way combination of the flexability of the web and the fun and interaction of the of the classroom.

You WILL need to have done the RYA Day Skipper Theory and be able to give the necessary study time for this course.

You will have the fun of five evenings tuition as well as the on line course.

On the first evening you will be given all of their course materials and your own log in and password for the on line learning. (unless we have given them and your log in details prior for you to start ahead of the course).

The modular structure ensures that students know exactly what should be covered each session.

In each evening session the instructor will introduce the topics for the subsequent session and deal with any problems and questions arising from the preceding session. The evening classes help navigators to maintain focus and deal with aspects that are best taught by an instructor face to face.

This eliminates unnecessary classroom time so the course can be comfortably completed in 5 evenings sessions plus about 40 hours of home study.

The online part of the course is hosted by RYA School navathome, admin and classroom backup and extra tuition is by Paul Bew. Log in for online is for 6 months extendable by a £30 payment for a further 6 months.
