RYA Day Skipper Theory

The theory course gives you enough knowledge to sail during the day to locations around a local coast or cross channel. Intensive 5-day courses can be found however, given the knowledge scope taught, the information is often lost if not used regularly after the course. Evening sessions offer enough time to allow it to sink in. Very enjoyable.

Useful Information

Cost: £180 members £210 for non-members (£50 deposit required)

Requirements: Minimum age 16. Have some reasonable knowledge on sailing/navigation prior to the course.

You’ll need:

A large notebook, pens and stationary

Money on the first evening

The bar is open if required
