RYA Diesel Engine Course

This course will provide an awareness of the main systems of a marine diesel engine so that skippers and crew can take simple measures to prevent mechanical breakdown at sea and to rectify defects which do not require workshop support. Numbers are restricted to six students on each course to allow "hands-on" access to the engine. No pre-course knowledge is necessary and a booklet will be provided to help in recording progress and competence.
