RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship

This RYA on line course offers a great introduction to navigation and safety awareness for new or inexperienced skippers and crew, and those wanting to refresh their skills. In fact it's for anyone interested in sailing, motor boating, sea angling or diving, and works well in complementing our on-the-water training, such as the Powerboat Level 2, Start Yachting and Helmsman courses.

It's a highly informative course with lots of opportunities for you to put your new found knowledge into practice. If you decide to take the course online, you will find many interactive exercises to help reinforce the information and lots of chances to try out what you've learned.

The Training Centre

This course is run in our fully equipped classroom in Spain. Numbers are always kept low and we can even do one to one teaching at a price no more than is charged for participating in a large class in the UK.

This level of attention has proved very successful in the past succeeding with students where others have failed.

You might want to add on some additional modules such as RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance and/or RYA Radar which can be added at a highly discounted price.

Courses can include an accommodation package at our centre which is situated in eth Spanish hills on the Mediterranean coast of Spain just down a short trip from Barcelona. The cost of staying is incredibly good value and is available for most of the year.

Why not include the course as part of a holiday. We can adjust the program and the duration of the course to allow plenty of vacation time so it is possible to go home with a qualification as well as a tan!

Prices

We offer a variety of prices depending on numbers and how long we feel you will need to complete the course as since we keep the numbers low, the time in the classroom can be tailored to meet your particular requirements. We can even start the course on-line before you come to the school so we can optimise your time in the classroom.

This is only a little more than the normal charge in the UK for the course alone but includes full accommodation and course packs.

You can add the Diesel Engine Maintenance and Radar courses for £50 per person per course a huge reduction on the normal price of £110!
