RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship

The Essential Navigation & Seamanship course is an inspiring classroom and online course for anyone interested in sailing, motor boating, sea angling or diving - or pretty much anything else on the water! This course will give you the essential knowledge needed when you´re afloat, from navigation safety and seamanship to passage planning.

We have two options for delivery of this course:

•A two day classroom based course at the school

•Study at your own pace, anytime, anywhere with the online version on our RYA Interactive page. All you need is a computer and internet access

If you choose the online method, we will post you out a shorebased course pack and training almanac. It comes complete with everything you need to complete the course including a chart, plotter and dividers. You will have the support of a dedicated instructor who is on call to answer any questions you may have by email or skype. The online course is very simple to use, is interactive and full of great graphics. Upon successful completion, the RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship Shorebased certificate will be issued.
