RYA First Aid

In a medical emergency a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations. This one-day course is designed to provide a working knowledge of first aid for people using small craft and to support skippers. At the end of the course you will be able to administer First Aid and resuscitation techniques for yachtsmen, including a knowledge of the treatment for hypothermia.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants to be able to administer First aid in an emergency. This course is a requirement for RYA trainers. How is the course structured? Presentations, discussion and practical work.
