RYA Intermediate Powerboat

This two day course follows on from the National Powerboat Level 2 Certificate.

We will develop your basic driving skills in more complex situations and weather / tides permiting, include an introduction to rough water boat handling.

You’ll be introduced to basic navigation, passage planning and pilotage, as well as planning a day trip. Sessions will also be run on the use of compasses, GPS and VHF / SRC radio, personal safety and dealing with emergency situations such as engine failure, fire, and man overboard.
