This course bridges the gap between Powerboat Level 2 and the Advanced Powerboat courses. More time is given to pilotage, navigation, fuel and engine checks as well as the effect of waves and rougher conditions. The use of power trims, trim tabs and berthing in different conditions are also included.
This course is highly recommended and is ideal for those wishing to undertake short coastal passages with confidence in daylight or an essential bridge from Level 2 for those wishing to undertake the Advanced Powerboat Course in the future.
