RYA Level 1 (Start Sailing)

The children sail in Wayfarer sized boats and they sail with an instructors. An introduction to dinghy sailing, this stage gives a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and experience of steering and handling the boat.

The emphasis of stage 1 is on introducing the children to sailing and ensuring that the children enjoy their initial experiences and learn their basic sailing skills.

If you have a wayfarer or similar type boat you would be willing to lend, this will help us to offer as many children as possible places.
