RYA Level 1 (Start Sailing)

This course provides a short introduction to sailing for novices. By the end of the course, participants should have a basic understanding of boat contols, boat handling techniques and background knowledge. You should be able to sail a dinghy around a small course including all points of sailing on your own. Practical skills are backed up with relevant theory.
