RYA Level 1 (Start Sailing)

It is a two day course that will cover many aspects of sailing a dinghy. It is a practical, hands-on course with elements of theory that will equip individuals with all they need to get started with the activity.

Delegate candidates can expect to learn many aspects of sailing required to be able to sail confidently under supervision in light winds. The course will cover how to sail in different directions, as well as gain an awareness of launching and recovering.
