RYA Level 2 (dinghy)

The course is for those who have mastered the practical skills and absorbed the knowledge required for Start Sailing. The course looks at sailing techniques and manoeuvres as well as dinghy or multihull capsize recovery conducted in a controlled manner.

The course builds on abilities to the standard of RYA Start Sailing and aims to provide candidates with a wide range of skills in dinghy sailing. Course content includes rigging, launching and sailing in all directions.

This course is a part of the RYA National Sailing Scheme and is suitable for participants over the age of 16. It is comprised of a series of two day courses enabling candidates to progress quickly from being a beginner in a controlled, safe and enjoyable environment.
