RYA Level 1 (Start Sailing)

Week long sailing course for beginners.

What is it?

This gives you the chance to do all your beginner’s training in one hit. Take a week out and try as many boats as possible. More time to consolidate and less time to forget!

The course covers the basic manoeuvres required in sailing and is nationally recognised as the ‘minimum standard’ for hire, so that you can progress onto our Recreational Sessions.

When is it?

This course runs Mondays to Fridays from 09.00 to 17.00. Some courses are four days due to bank holidays and are charged pro-rata.

Who is it for?

The course is designed for beginners who are looking for a comprehensive introduction to sailing.

How much is it?

£375, including a course book and certificate.
