RYA Level 2 (dinghy)

Cost: £150 for members, £275 for non-members (£125 can be offset if you subsequently join the Club)

Monday evening course over 11 weeks: starts Mon 9th May, ends Mon 18th July 2016 - 6.15pm - dusk/9.30pm

This course is for complete beginners and those with informal sailing experience wishing to progress to a formal qualification. No need to own a boat or bouyancy aid.

The course is a complete introduction to sailing, covering all you need to know in order to get afloat under supervision including rigging, launching, recovery, how to sail in all directions, capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge. By the end of the course you will be able to sail and make sensible sailing decisions in fair conditions. And if a member you will then be able to hire a Club boat for independent sailing in fair conditions.
