RYA Level 2 (dinghy)

This level 2 course aims to consolidate your basic knowledge of sailing, and develop an awareness of safety. By the end of the course you will be capable of sailing a boat without an instructor on board in light winds. On the RYA Sailing Level 2 course your skills will improve as we introduce you to the five essentials of sailing: balance, trim, centreboard, sail setting and course made good.

Useful Information

Course Objective: You will be sailing confidently without the instructor onboard, ready to hire our boats on the sea and practice your new found skills!

Prerequisite: RYA Level 1 or equivalent experience

What to bring: All you need to bring is an old pair of shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Waterproofs, buoyancy aid and equipment hire is included.
