RYA Level 2 (dinghy)

The RYA Level 2: Basic Skills course at Burwain SC assumes that the student has previously achieved the RYA Level 1: Start Sailing certificate. This course builds on the skills learned, introduces new ones and supports you along the way to becoming an independent sailor.

By the end of the course you should be safety conscious, have a basic knowledge of sailing and be capable of sailing without an instructor in light winds. You will be awarded the RYA Level 2 certificate on successfully completing and understanding the modules of the RYA Level 2 syllabus on the National Sailing Scheme.
