RYA Powerboat Level 2

On the first morning, we generally practice manoeuvres in Brighton Marina, and in the afternoon high-speed manoeuvres and man-over board in the open water. We also complete a theory session, including a passage plan and pilotage to Shoreham-by-Sea. The second day involves high-speed navigation and finding the yellow racing buoys at sea. We head up the River Adur where the strong tides are great for practicing ferry-gliding and tying moorings. The day is finished off with a lap of honour to demonstrate all the skills you have learnt on your course.
