RYA Sea Survival

The one day RYA/MCA Basic Sea Survival course for Small Craft is intended for anyone who regularly goes to sea in any kind of vessel. The course covers the selection and use of a variety of safety equipment, flares, lifejackets etc. The course includes the opportunity to inflate and climb aboard a real liferaft in the controlled environment of a swimming pool.

We are pleased to be able to offer this course in conjunction with one of the largest suppliers of small craft safety equipment in the UK. Students are required to bring along old clothes (including waterproofs if you have them) for the practical exercise, if you have your own lifejacket then this is also your chance to find out how it works! Students will be awarded the RYA/MCA Basic Sea Survival certificate and provided with course notes and refreshments.
