RYA Seamanship Skills

This course builds on RYA Level 2. It teaches you advance launching and landing to and from shore techniques in varying conditions. You will learn how to stop and start your dinghy, reduce and reef you sails afloat and recover a man over board single handed (a dummy is used for this!!). You will also learn and practice the fine skill of Anchoring you dinghy in varying conditions. By the end of the course you will be able to handle a wide range of situations and conditions afloat in light, medium and heavy winds.
