STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Ambrey is offering all four modules of the Maritime Coastguard Agency accredited STCW basic safety courses. Prior to boarding any vessel over 24 metres, all personnel are required to undertake familiarisation training in personal survival techniques and this course is a pre-requisite for those wishing to enter the maritime sector.

Course Structure

The four modules will include: Personal Survival Techniques, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility and Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting. The first two days of this course will be held at our Herefordshire offices and the remainder will take place at the Severn Park Fire and Rescue Centre in Avonmouth. Two nights accommodation, breakfast and evening meal at the Fire and Rescue Centre is included in the cost of this course.

The STCW course offers basic safety training for anyone in the maritime security industry, our STCW courses have been specifically designed to give you the knowledge and skills to comply with the mandatory requirements of STCW Basic Training. Candidates will be assessed for practical and theoretical understanding of the key learning outcomes and the course will conclude with an MCA assessment.
