Superyacht Deckhand

UKSA’s Superyacht Deckhand/Crew training course is the perfect springboard into the superyacht industry. With expert tuition, purpose-built site and ALL-INCLUSIVE, intensive training package, you can start your career in the superyacht industry after just 19 days at UKSA, armed with all the qualifications and skills you need. UKSA has fantastic facilities, an extensive fleet of yachts, a simulation suite and inspirational professional instructors. All food and accommodation are included in the price and there are no hidden extras. We will prepare you for your first steps in the industry thanks to our unrivaled guidance and teaching and unique links with the maritime industry.

Course Structure

Course syllabus: • Crew training (deck work, look out and watch duties, tender duties and safety procedures) • Vessel care (maintenance, basic repairs, cleaning) • Basic engineering and safety training • Careers guidance from our professional team • Networking within the industry • UKSA superyacht uniform (branded polo shirts) are provided
