The aim of this course is to refresh the seafarers’ skills according to STCW A-VI/1, paragraph 3, table A-VI/1-1 and A-VI/1-2, in the subjects of Sea Survival and Basic Fire Fighting. As amended in 2010.
Course Structure
The STCW Basic Safety Refresher Training of 2 modules which include both theory and practical sessions
•Minimize the risk of fire and maintain a state of readiness to respond to emergency situations involving fire
•Fight and extinguish fires
•Survive at sea in the event of ship abandonment
The course follows the guideline of Danish Maritime Authority (DMA) and Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA)
