WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits
This course covers the major grape varieties grown around the world. Students are taught how to taste wine professionally using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This qualification is popular with wine and spirit employees and will give students excellent all-round product knowledge. The course is also suitable for the interested consumer.
HOW WILL YOU BENEFIT?
The aim of the course is to focus on the key grape varieties and regions of the world. It covers the winemaking process and includes tastings of over 40 local and international wines.

To gain the qualification students need to pass a multiple-choice paper of 50 questions
COURSE DATES AND ITINERARY
Level 2 takes place over three days with an Abingdon lunch included on all three days.
Specific dates can be arranged privately for group bookings of 6 or more people.

· Price includes all course materials and study guide, exam fees, tastings of over 40 local and international wines, vineyard and cellar tour, examination on the final day.
· Lunch at Abingdon restaurant will be provided on each day.
· Drinks with lunch not included.
· Accommodation nearby can be organised at a discounted rate.
Entry Requirements:
It is recommended that Students complete the WSET Level 1 course before registering for Level 2, however it is not a prerequisite. Students and candidates who are under the legal minimum age for the retail purchase of alcoholic beverages in the country where the examination is being held will NOT be allowed to sample any alcoholic beverages as part of their course, but this is not a barrier for successfully completing the qualification.
