Marine Resources are looking for a Project Manager to join a world leading designer, manufacturer, and maintainer of high-speed workboats ranging from 5m to 25m in length for global defense and security markets.
With operations in the Northwest of England and a recent move to a 6.5-acre waterside shipyard premises, the company is poised for accelerated growth, targeting to double the current £20M revenue over the next 2 years with its existing order book alone.

Location: Bromborough-Wirral
Hours: Full time/permanent (40 hours per week) Flexible working.
Position: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Provide full project oversight
Take ownership of all tasks within the project
Assist in further planning before and during projects
Monitor project performance, providing input where possible
Conduct ongoing reviews of staffing, budgets, and project schedules
Liaise among different departments, including senior managers and suppliers
Offer support to other departments and managers
Be responsible to the customer for the success of economic and technical planning, implementation, delivery, and completion of a project
Competence, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
Excellent planning and monitoring skills with a minimum of 2 years of marine (or relevant) project management experience.
Capacity to grasp the ethos and product range of our client
Attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of performance and quality are achieved
Clear communication with the team, directors, and clients
Good organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure
IT literate
In-depth experience in project delivery from defining specifications to customer requirements to the delivery of operations
Understanding of HR/quality policies and procedures within a manufacturing workshop
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant engineering subject or time-served experience
The successful candidate must be able to achieve full SC (Security Clearance)
