Summary

We are looking for an experienced rotational 2nd Engineer to work on board a 90m private & charter yacht. The 2nd engineer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the engine department under supervision of the Chief Engineer.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety & proficiency. We are looking for a hands-on candidate with a minimum 1 year experience as a 2nd Engineer on board a 80m+ MY and a minimum of 2 years yachting experience. MTU experience as well as experience from refit & maintenance periods is a must.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and leadership abilities as well as extensive ocean-going experience on similar size vessels.

Candidates located in Europe will be given first preference.

All candidates must hold valid certificates and must be a 2nd Engineer Unlimited STCW III/2
