Private Island – Deck/Marine Engineer

We are looking for someone to join this privately used and successfully chartered island in the Caribbean.

Start: October

Salary: DOE

Marine Mechanic/ Technician – (Yamaha Knowledge)

-Managing 2 other staff members (marine/water sports team)

-This is a very hands-on position you will need to be able to operate all tenders and water sports operations.

-This is a front-of-house role, you will be dealing directly with UHNWI’s

-Servicing Yamaha engines and Yamaha jet skis

-Taking guests on tender runs

-Taking guests fishing & snorkelling

-Watersports with guests

Qualifications/Requirements

-STCW

-Yacht Master 200T - desirable - not compulsory

-Boat Mechanic certificate

-Mechanically minded (background in yachting)

-Familiar with navigating in Caribbean waters

-Carpentry skills
