Summary
Temporary First Mate needed for 40-meter M/Y. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong hospitality mentality and will instill a culture of excellence and service amongst and between all crew members. Must have strong references both verbal and written.
Winter 2024/25 South Florida, Bahamas, and Caribbean, Summer 2025: TBD
Start Date: Immediate for approximately 1 month
Compensation Package: Above Industry Standard (negotiable DOE)
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Strong knowledge of all Bridge, Navigation, Safety, and Deck Procedures
- Proven leadership skills, leads by example, exhibits a strong work ethic
- Must have strong handling skills for large tenders, must be proficient in all aspects of anchoring
- Proven ISM and MLC compliance/knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation
Qualifications Required:
- YMO minimum (OOW 500 preferred)
- STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- SSO
- Seafarers Medical Certificate
- Valid B1 Visa
