Summary

We’re seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Yacht Expedition department, working closely with the Director of Yachting. In this role, you’ll oversee Yacht Expeditions across multiple regions, ensuring seamless operations by coordinating with Brokers, Central Agencies, Management Companies, Captains, and Clients. You’ll anticipate challenges and implement strategic solutions to maintain global growth.

A strong background in Yachting and a proven track record in a similar role are essential. An established industry network and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.

Core Responsibilities

  • Logistics: Full responsibility for all project logistics, including itineraries, contingencies, safety procedures, equipment sourcing and ownership of all aspects of logistics and costing of trips. Ensuring all communications, safety procedures, permits, travel requirements and insurance are in place.
  • Yacht Expedition planning: creating numerous options and ideas for clients to choose from. Working closely with Captains, Agents, local authorities, and subject matter experts from around the world and ensuring that each detail is thought through to deliver a world class experience.
  • Business Development: full responsibility for sales and marketing of Yacht Expeditions to private clients and across the industry. Attending yacht shows and organising industry events.
  • Management: as a member of the leadership team, report to Directors and be prepared to manage a small project team. Ensure high standards of client and supplier management.
  • Project finances: work with the Directors, oversee all trip costing to ensure all aspects are covered including, contingencies, invoices, payments to suppliers, consultants and relevant third parties.

Experience

  • Experience of 5+ years in the Yachting industry, ideally in a senior-level role
  • Established network of contacts in Yachting
  • Demonstrated history of meeting targets and operational success
  • Outstanding problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccably organised and accurate in execution
  • Analytical mindset and digital proficiency
  • Experience of fast-paced environments that require laser-focused prioritisation.
