Summary

TEMPORARY CHIEF ENGINEER REQUIRED ON A 30M+ MOTOR YACHT 

Start date: 27^th November 2024 (for approx. 45 days)

Itinerary: Middle East

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer for a prestigious 30-meter motor yacht. The ideal candidate will possess a Y3 license and a minimum of four years of hands-on experience 

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all technical operations, ensuring the efficient functioning of onboard systems, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting are essential.

Shore-based accommodation and transport to and from the boat will be provided when in the Middle East.

Runs with a crew of 6 - 9.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:

• STCW/ENG1
• Y3 minimum 
• Seafarer Medical certificate
• Designated Security Duties Certificate 
• 4 years’ experience needed 
• Must be Covid Vaccinated & willing to undergo medical screening prior to joining 
• No visible tattoos 
• Excellent references needed

PACKAGE:

• Salary: DOE Euro per month
• One economy-class return ticket to the repatriation destination
• Accommodation is provided ashore when the boat is in the Middle East 

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
