Summary

EXPERIENCED LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR HNWI IN CHELSEA

Location: Chelsea, London

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum, negotiable

Status: Live-in

A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to work for a HNWI in their 4-bedroom home in Chelsea, London. Spread across 3 floors, the home has been finished to a high standard and there are lots of antiques and delicate items, so the Housekeeper must have excellent experience and knowledge of how to care for fine furnishings and fabrics, as well as a brilliant eye for detail.

Duties and responsibilities will include all general and deep cleaning tasks, wardrobe management and organisation, laundry, and ironing, as well as packing and unpacking suitcases for the principal. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for ensuring that all amenities, vitamins and make-up products are in stock, and inform the principal or PA when more items need to be ordered.

A full-time Chef is employed, but the Housekeeper will assist with simple meal prep on the Chef’s days off – this will usually be something simple like boiled eggs or a salad. It is important that the successful candidate is pet friendly and is happy to undertake pet care duties as part of the role, as the principal has large, friendly dog that needs walking every morning.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday from 07:30am-16:30pm, and accommodation is provided in a separate self-contained cottage/studio on the property. The accommodation will only be available from March 2025, so a rental contribution will be paid up until then in addition to the salary to cover the Housekeeper’s rent. A live-out Housekeeper can also be considered if located in the Chelsea/Fulham area, though live-in candidates will be given preference.
