Summary
We are hiring an experienced temp Chief Officer to join a 48m charter vessel.
Start Date: 04.11.2024 until approx. 15.01.0224 +-2 weeks
Salary 6300 EUR pcm
Candidate requirements:
· Ability to oversee the vessel during the winter as the captain is only present from time to time.
· Very hands on during the day on deck
· Ideally maneuvering skills in case of an emergency where the boat has to be moved as the Captain is only present from time to time
· Confident and well organized with excellent manners
· Excellent maintenance skills
· Valid STCW Certificates - according to the rank
· Profound knowledge with MS office and Adobe Acrobat
· Excellent English language skills and real must
· Good people management skills
· Understanding for the big picture of operating a vessel
The position suits a social and well educated CO to join this vessel with excellent owners and great crew. Maltese Flagged Vessel. EU passport holders are given strong priority. This is a temporary position for now but likely to turn into permanent for the right candidate.
