Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp Deckhand for a 70m yacht
We are looking for a Temporary Deckhand to cover some holidays, with the opportunity to work on an exciting crossing to Puerto Rico. This position will require working 6 days a week with 1 day off.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general deck duties, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Support crew during navigation and daily operations.
- Participate in the crossing to Puerto Rico, ensuring smooth and safe sailing.
- Work closely with the captain and crew to ensure vessel readiness and functionality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a deckhand.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ideally possess a B1/B2 visa (for the crossing)
- Availability to work 6 days a week, with 1 day off.
- Knowledge of basic seamanship and deck operations.
