Job Title: Facilities Engineer (Electrical Focus) / Electrician
Location: Gibraltar (Relocation Package Available)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 gross per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Travel Requirement: Extensive travel between properties
A qualified and experienced Facilities Engineer is required to oversee and manage all electrical installations and systems within a family office setting. This hands-on role will focus on the maintenance, repair, and procurement of electrical systems across office facilities, staff accommodations, and principal residences. Based in Gibraltar (or willing to relocate with a provided package), the ideal candidate will have practical, proven expertise in electrical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on all electrical installations in offices and residential properties.
- System Management: Oversee electrical systems across all properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and meet relevant electrical standards.
- Procurement of Electrical Equipment: Source and manage the procurement of electrical components and supplies needed for regular maintenance and repairs.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical work complies with regulatory standards, including safety protocols, through ongoing checks and inspections.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records for all electrical systems, including maintenance logs and compliance documentation.
- Travel Between Properties: Travel to various locations to inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification: Must hold recognised electrical certifications with strong expertise in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Experience: Practical experience as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer, ideally within residential and office settings.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage electrical installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high standards of repair and maintenance.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel regularly to multiple properties and adapt to various environments as needed.
- Relocation: Willing to be based in Gibraltar with a relocation package available for qualified candidates.
