Sole Engineer in New Zealand

Summary

We are looking for a Sole Engineer for a 30m+ Private S/Y.

-Permanent position to start ASAP in New Zealand!

-Itinerary - Worldwide (the vessel spends a lot of time at sea)!

-Candidates should have their AEC 1&2 in hand and ideally be working towards their Y modules.

-The engineer needs to be a true sailor, team player and live an active lifestyle!

-Experience with Caterpillar Engines and Northern Lights Generators is a big bonus.

-Preference will be given to crew located Australia or New Zealand.

-Non-smoking vessel.

Salary DOE with a standard MLC SEA.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
